Isaiah was awesome through this entire ordeal. Mike would pick him up at daycare and then they would come see me and later Josiah at the hospital. Isaiah conquered many fears in those two weeks. He can now ride on elevators without crying, he doesn't run from people in scrubs, and going to the doctor is now cool. I hope the carseat picture gives a better idea of how small Josiah actually is...it took some getting used to! I spent 10 days in the hospital and Josiah spent 10 days in the NICU.

Josiah David

Josiah David joined or family a little earlier than we excpected on May 30. He weighed 5 lb. 1/2 oz. and was 18 inches long. I had been on bedrest at home and then put in the hospital 5 days before he was born to try and buy some time for him to grow. However, my body couldn't deal with the pre-eclampsyia anymore and they had to perform a c-section because he started to have trouble when I started having contractions. We are very blessed to both be healthy because his placenta had started to seperate. God was watching over all of us. As you can tell, Isaiah is very proud to be a big brother and enjoys Josiah very much!
